It’s time to check out the calendar and plan your winter holidays in the best possible way. Probably, Himachal Pradesh will always be the among top choice of tourists in India especially in the month of November- February. Manali is one of the most popular hill stations of India which is situated in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, at an altitude of 2,050 meters. The hill station is blessed with the divine beauty of nature in the form of snow-covered mountains, lush greenery, breathtaking views. In short, it is a hill station which is worth visiting. Well if you have not visited Manali but planning to visit, then this blog will surely help you. Check out how I planned my solo Manali budget in Rs 6000 for 4 days.

Day 1- Well, it was not my first visit to Manali I have already gone there with my friends. This time I was on a solo trip, so I have already booked my bus ticket a week before the journey date. I have started my Manali trip on 16/02/2017 from Vidhan Sabha Metro Station New Delhi at 10:00 P.M. The ticket which I have booked was of Himachal Tourist Volvo bus which costs me Rs 1300.

Manali budgetDay-2 Next morning at 11:30 A.M. the bus arrived at Manali bus stand. I went to the hotel which I have booked for my stay at Rs 700 per day. After keeping my luggage in the room, I went to have lunch where I have ordered a veg thali which costs me Rs 100. After having lunch I have taken rest of 1 hour in the hotel, and at 02:30 P.M. visited my first destination Hidimba Devi Temple, which was very close to the hotel so I went there by walk. The temple is beautifully structured and is dedicated to the goddess Hadimba, who was the wife of Bhima of Mahabharata.   After Hidimba Devi Temple, my next destination was Vashisht Temple which is believed to be more than 4000 years old. The temple is named after Hindu Sage Vashisht and the hot springs of water inside the temple is a major center of attraction for the visitors. The temple is situated at distance of 4 kilometers from Hidimba Temple, I have reached there by Auto-Rickshaw in Rs 50.

I have completed my second destination of Manali by 05:00 P.M., after that I have planned to visit Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa. It is among one of the popular monasteries of Manali, and it shows the life of Lord Buddha’s in the form of paintings. You will also find small shops were Tibetan peoples sell their handicrafts, sculptures. The distance of monastery from Vashist temple is 3 kilometers and I have reached there by 05:15 P.M. by giving Rs 60 to auto-rickshaw. After monastery, I have reached to my hotel in Rs 70. I went to a restaurant near to my hotel, where I have eaten Chicken Biryani in Rs 200. After completing dinner I have reached the hotel and taken a good sleep.

Day-3 Wake up at 07:00 A.M., in the morning and checked out from the hotel. Went to a restaurant in Mall road, where I have eaten breakfast which costs Rs 60. From the Mall road, I have booked a car to Solang Valley which costs me Rs 1000. Solang Valley is situated at distance of 13 kilometers from Manali, which is well known as a hub of adventurous activities. It is always advisable not to visit the valley in your regular outfits because there is a thick layer of ice which can freeze your legs. So, to avoid the chilly weather, I have rented a thick outfit, a pair of socks, a long boot which costs me Rs 500.

After reaching the valley, I clicked some beautiful pictures of the mesmerizing view of nature. I have also enjoyed skiing at Solang Valley which costs me Rs 300. Trust me, it was really a wonderful experience to see heaven in front of eyes. I was in Solang Valley till 01:00 P.M., after that I have called the driver who has dropped me. The cab dropped me at Mall road by 02:30 P.M., after that I have taken a veg thali which costs Rs 100. After completing lunch, I went to see the markets of Mall road from where I have bought a wooden showpiece of Rs 140. At 04:15 I went to Manali bus stand, which is very close to Mall road. On 18/02/2017 at 05:00 P.M.,  I have departed for Delhi in a Volvo bus which costs me Rs 1300, and for Dinner, I have packed my food which costs me Rs 120.

Day-4 On 19/02/2017 I have reached Delhi at 06:00 A.M.
